Container. Kenya. Small container, made from a finely cut animal horn, surrounded by small blue glass beads, then characterized by a long neck and a small bulbous belly. The container is connected to a long-stemmed wooden stopper by means of a long copper chain. Containers of this type, commonly known as "snuff boxes" were very often hunting trophies or prestigious objects that may contain snuff, but also other substances such as gunpowder or medicinal herbs.
