Two brown fur balls, stiffened over time and originally kept by Maasai men, as souvenirs and / or hunting trophies. "Samburu and Maasai remove fur balls from the stomach of their cows as a remembrance. They take similar balls from the stomach of a lion when they kill it. Some claim to be able to tell the sex and age of lion by examining the ball" (Donovan. 2004: 125).
