Head ornament
Head ornament / necklace. Maasai. Kenya. No 72. XI.A.13. Original list: "Maasai.Head Ornament. Iron, copper, aluminum. Woman, girl". Ornament characterized by two pairs of spiral aluminum discs, suspended on either side of a metallic chain made of copper and ferrous alloy. These discs are covered with copper wire on their outer edge. Ornaments of this type were worn by women.
